Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy – IndiThings
Refund Policy
To request a refund, please contact us at care@indithings.com from the email address used to place the order.
If your refund request is approved, the refund will be initiated within 48 hours, and the amount will be credited to your original payment method within 3–5 business days, depending on banking timelines.
Important Notes
- Most products sold on IndiThings are non-returnable, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- For any damaged, defective, or missing items, an unboxing video is mandatory as proof for refund or replacement requests.
- Customers in certain countries (including Europe and Canada) are responsible for paying applicable customs duties or import charges.
Eligibility for Refunds
Refund requests must be initiated within 6 hours of delivery.
Refunds are applicable only in cases of:
- Damaged products
- Defective products
- Incorrect or missing items
An unboxing video is mandatory to process any refund request.
All requests are subject to verification and validation by the IndiThings team.
Damages, Fragile Items & Limitations
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery and email care@indithings.com with supporting images and an unboxing video if any issue is found.
While we take utmost care in packaging, breakage cannot be completely avoided for fragile items. Minor breakage in such items may not be eligible for refunds.
Customs Inspection Disclaimer
Certain countries may open packages for customs inspection. Customs authorities are government entities, and IndiThings has no control over this process.
If a package is opened, damaged, or leaked during customs inspection, IndiThings will not be liable, and refunds will not be provided in such cases.
Dairy Product Restrictions (Europe & UK)
Milk-based sweets and dairy products (including ghee) cannot be shipped to the UK or European countries.
If such items are included in an order:

An alternative product will be offered, or
- A refund will be issued within 5 business days if an alternative is unavailable
- This applies only to European destinations.
Nut-Based Product Restrictions (UK)
Products containing nuts cannot be shipped to the UK due to strict customs regulations.
If such products are ordered:
- An alternative product will be offered, or
- A refund will be processed within 5 business days if an alternative is unavailable
- This restriction applies only to the UK.
How Refunds Are Processed
Once we receive and review your request:
- You will be notified of approval or rejection
- Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method
- Refunds typically reflect within 3–5 business days
Coupon & Price Difference Policy
If an order is placed using a coupon and the customer later finds another coupon with a higher discount:
Requests for refund of the price difference must be made within 6 hours of placing the order, no refunds will be provided once the order is packed, dispatched, or ready for dispatch
Failed Delivery & Refusal Policy
If a customer refuses delivery or does not respond to delivery attempts:
- Delivery will be attempted up to 2 times
- If delivery fails due to refusal or no response, no refund will be issued
Returns Policy
Returns are not accepted, even in cases of damage or incorrect items
Customers must share photo/video proof via care@indithings.com to claim refunds
If products are returned without approval, a restocking fee of up to 20% of the order value may be deducted
Cancellation Policy
Orders can be cancelled only via email at care@indithings.com
Requests through social media, calls, or WhatsApp will not be considered unless officially acknowledged
During peak sale periods, certain orders may be non-cancellable once placed
If IndiThings cancels an order due to stock unavailability or shipping constraints:
A full refund will be processed within 3–5 business days
Apparel, Handloom & Craft Products
Handloom and craft products may have natural variations in weave, texture, or finish. These are not considered defects, but part of the product’s authenticity.
Not considered defects:
- Minor thread knots or slubs
- Minor colour variation due to screen settings
Considered defects:
- Tears or cuts
- Incorrect length
- Missing components mentioned in the product description
All apparel-related refund or requests must be raised within 6 hours of delivery.
No Returns / No Exchanges (Worldwide Shipping)
All Fashion products are shipped worldwide from India. Due to high international logistics and reverse shipping costs, we do not offer returns, replacements, or exchanges once the order is processed or dispatched.
Refunds (Only in Case of IndiThings Error)
Refunds will be provided only if there is an error from IndiThings (wrong product, wrong size shipped, or damaged item with proper unboxing proof). No refunds or exchanges will be provided for size issues, customer preference changes, or ordering mistakes.
Size Changes (Within 3 Hours Only)
Customers must check the size chart carefully before ordering. If a size change is required, it must be informed within 3 hours of placing the order. Once the order is processed, no modifications, cancellations, refunds, or exchanges will be allowed.
Duties & Customs Clearance
Customers are responsible for paying customs duties for applicable countries
IndiThings does not bear customs charges
Customs clearance in certain countries may take up to 20 days
IndiThings will assist with tracking and updates, but clearance timelines are beyond our control
